Linking Accounts

Important

• Your game progress becomes tied to your Amazon Games iD account. Unlinking your account in the future will impact your game progress.
• Your purchased and earned in-game items will be tied to your Amazon Games iD account and can be accessed directly through your Amazon Games iD account.
• There is a 365-day cooldown period between linking a different compatible account to your Amazon Games iD. Make sure to verify that you're linking the correct accounts to avoid being stuck with the wrong account linked to your Amazon Games iD.
• If you're trying to link an Xbox account, verify that your Xbox account currently exists by attempting to sign in or creating an account at xbox.com.
• If you receive an error message stating "The account is not tied to an Xbox account. To link your account, you'll first need to set up an Xbox account and try again", you have not created an Xbox account yet. Create an Xbox account then try linking your Xbox account again.

Linking Accounts

1. Go to id.amazongames.com on a web browser and sign in to your Amazon Games iD.
2. Select the Account Linking tab.
3. Click Link Account for the compatible account that you want to link to your Amazon Games iD.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions provided in the sub-page to complete the linking.

Code-Based Linking

You can use a code to link your platform account to your Amazon Games iD within compatible games.

The code will expire in 15 minutes. If you're unable to complete your account linking within that time frame, you will need to use a new activation code. You can re-click Link Accounts within the compatible game to generate a new code.

1. Click Link Accounts after opening the compatible game.
2. Go to id.amazongames.com/activate and enter the code provided.
3. Enter your Amazon Games iD account credentials if you're not already signed in.
4. Click Confirm to link the accounts.
