Changing Authenticator App

If you would like to change the Authenticator App that you use with your Amazon Games iD, follow the instructions below.

Important

Before getting started, ensure you have the new Authenticator App you want to use already downloaded. Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator are two popular options that work.

You can download Authenticator Apps from the iOS Store or the Google Play Store. 

Changing Authenticator App

1. Go to id.amazongames.com on a web browser and sign into your Amazon Games iD.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Settings next to Two-Step Verification.
4. Click Change App next to Change Authenticator App.
5. Open the Authenticator App you're changing to and enter in the QR code or key code.
6. Enter in the Amazon Games code shown in your Authenticator App and click Replace Existing App.
7. Remove the Amazon Games code from your first Authenticator App as it is no longer needed.
