Amazon Games may reach out to your email address attached to your Amazon Games iD for marketing or transactional reasons.
Marketing Reasons
If your account has email communications enabled, we will send marketing emails to you that include opportunities and information that may be of interest you. Those emails include:
- Offers
- News
- Info about in-game events
- Surveys
Opting out
You can follow these steps to opt out of marketing email communications:
- Sign in to your Amazon Games iD.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Account tab.
- Uncheck the box underneath Email Communications.
Note: You can opt in or out of game specific email communications by toggling the checkbox next to the game title in that same section.
Transactional Reasons
When there is a change made to your account, we may send an email informing you of the account changes. These emails can’t be opted out of. These type of emails include:
- Password reset requests
- Two-Step Verification codes sent via email
- Account linking and unlinking confirmation
- Suspicious activity detected on your account
- Suspension of your account
Trusted Domains
You should only trust these email domains for receiving communications from Amazon Games:
- id.amazongames.com
- e.amazongames.com
- Other domains that end in amazongames.com
Any other email domains claiming to be from Amazon Games are not authorised. We recommend avoiding clicking links and providing any information to other unverified email domains.
