Enabling Two-Step Verification

Enabling Two-Step Verification is an important step for protecting your account. You add an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a code every time you sign in.

You can use an Authenticator App or your email address as your authentication method. Our recommendation is using an Authenticator App as it's more secure.

Enabling Two-Step Verification – Email

1. Go to id.amazongames.com on a web browser and sign into your account.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Select Set Up.
4. Click Choose underneath Verify With Email.
5. You will receive an email confirming that Two-Step Verification is enabled.

Enabling Two-Step Verification – Authenticator App

1. Go to id.amazongames.com on a web browser and sign into your account.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Select Set Up.
4. Click Set Up underneath Verify With Authenticator App.
5. Enter the verification code in your authenticator app or scan the QR code.
6. In your authenticator app there will now be a new entry titled Amazon Games and includes your display name.
